Morning arrival at Siem Reap airport and transfer to your hotel, Siem Reap is the nearest town to the temple complex of Angkor. From the 9th to 13th century, Angkor was the heart of a rich and sophisticated civilization. You will see massive stone monuments, wide majestic causeways, imposing gateways and towers, all in a wonderful jungle setting. Free leisure at your own time

Siem Reap Prek Toal Bird Watching

Meet your expert bird guide at your hotel, and proceed via air-conditioned car or minivan to the boat dock area. Transfer onto our traditional boat, a special flat bottomed boat driven by experienced local boat drivers. On the way to the Prek Toal Sanctuary, you will pass through the floating village where everything floats, including police stations, shops, schools, and markets.

Next, proceed across the great lake, Tonle Sap, and enter into the Prek Toal floating community. You will meet up with the local rangers and transfer onto their boats for the trip inside the Biosphere reserve. These boats are much smaller and can get in closer to the viewing platforms. For the keen bird watches, smaller row boats that will allow the local guide to row you up close to where the birds are nesting are used. This is an incredible sight, as thousands of huge water birds call this sanctuary home.

Afterward, head back to meet up with our traditional boat driver, then you can enjoy our picnic lunch. Relax on our private traditional boat and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Tonle Sap Lake. Then meet up with your air conditioned minivan for the journey back to your Siem Reap accommodation

Kbal Spean & Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity

After breakfast at your hotel, we drive to Kbal Spean. Walk 45 minutes through the forest to the top of the hill to reach Kbal Spean, the "Thousand Linga River." Discover the 10th-12th century sculptures chiseled into the rocky riverbed, the Royal Bath and the waterfall.

On the way back visit, Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity focuses on wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release. Our tour guide will introduce you to a vast range of animals’ native to Cambodia, such as monkeys, lizards, birds and leopard cats, some of which you are unlikely to see on your travels through the Kingdom. The centre, committed to education, provides morning lectures in English and Khmer discussing Cambodian ecosystems, biodiversity and responsible tourism. Visit Banteay Srei Temple nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of it decorative carving.
