Bangkok Highlights
   

After breakfast at your hotel, you begin your fantastic journey of discovery; the first stop, is the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. You will board a private motorboat and travel down the canals to marketplace; colourful, overflowing, exotic boat-stalls surround you. This is the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs and take lots of photographs.

After the market, you'll be driven back downtown for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll visit some of Bangkok's most exquisite Buddhist temples. You can marvel at the attention to detail and the spectacular architecture at the magnificent Grand Palace. Then its on to Wat Traimit – The Temple of the Golden Buddha, which houses the world's largest solid gold statue; the incredible 3 metre high buddha statue is quite a sight to behold. Next it's onto Wat Arun - the Temple of Dawn, which sits on the banks of the Chao Praya River and is considered by many the most beautiful temple in Thailand. Today's tour ends with Wat Po - Temple Of Reclining Buddha, which houses a 46-metre gold leaf gilded Buddha statue.

In the morning, you will be taken to the airport for the flight up north to Chiang Mai, When you arrive, your private guide waiting to welcome you and take you to your hotel to check in.The rest of the day is yours to settle inOvernight in Chiang Mai.

Bangkok- Chiang Mai
   

After breakfast, you will visit the Maetaman Elephant Camp. You'll get the chance to tick Elephant ride off your bucket list, as you ride across the river and through the forest. Then back to the elephant village for lunch, after which you can get up close and personal with the world's most gentle giants.In the afternoon, enjoy a bamboo rafting along the Mae Taeng River. The rest of the day is yours.Overnight in Chiang Mai.

This morning, you will be taken to Chiang Rai, along the way, you will visit a contemporary Buddhist temple, Wat Rong Khun - the White Temple; this extravagant and ornate complex was built in 1997. You'll never have seen anything quite like this.then head into the Tenasserim Hills, you'll go up to highest peak on the Thai-Myanmar border to explore the local hill villages and enjoy the beautiful view of the terraced farms below you.

Chiang Mai- transfer to Chiang Rai
   

in the morning, you will take to Chiang Saen! Settle into your cabin as we begin our 10 day Mekong River cruise. You will begin with a sightseeing tour of the Golden Triangle, the region between Myanmar (Burma), Laos and Thailand. Here, you will visit the Golden Buddha of Sop Ruak and the Hall of Opium, a fascinating museum that gives a deep background on the history and politics of opium and the opium trade.Enjoy your first evening on board with a lovely welcome dinner.

Chiang Saen Disembarkation
   

You will begin this morning by taking an excursion to Mae Sai. Here, you may visit the local market and enjoy a scenic view across the border of Myanmar. Next, we will head to the Doi Tung Royal Orchid Botanical Gardens, one of Southeast Asia's most beautiful botanical gardens. After a quick stop at Chiang Saen port for border formalities, we will begin to cruise towards Huay Xai, a town on the Thai and Laotian border. Enjoy the stunning scenery in Northern Laos as we sail along the mighty Mekong River.

Golden Triangle-Huay Xai
   

Enjoy some free time on deck to relax as we cruise through this densely populated region, accessible only by water. We will begin by cruising upstream towards Pak Tha, a small local village where you will take a boat excursion along the Namtha River to visit a Khmu village.The ship will drop its anchor here at a sand bank for the night.

Huay Xai- Pak Tha
   

The cruise will continue this morning by sailing towards Pakbeng. Upon your arrival, we will have a short coffee break and time to visit a local market. We will then begin your highlights tour with a visit to the Pak Ou Village, where you will visit the breathtaking Tam Ting Caves of a Thousand Buddhas. Then, after a relaxing stroll through the jungle, we will head to Laotian village to observe how Lao-Lao, the local liqueur, is traditionally distilled.

After returning to the ship, we will continue to sail to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Luang Prabang. Upon your arrival, start your Luang Prabang city tour. You will first visit the famous Wat Xieng Thong temple, then enjoy a panoramic sunset view over the Mekong and the Khan River after a short hike up Mount Phou Si. Appreciate the unique atmosphere created where the French colonial architecture collides with traditional Buddhist temples.Take a stroll along the Mekong river and then head to the vibrant night market of the local Hmong minority group.Return back to the ship and enjoy a welcome dinner on board followed by relaxation time in the evening.

Pakbeng- Pakou- Luang Prabang
   

After enjoying your breakfast on board, you will be given a guided tour of the highlights of this wonderful city. Visit the National Museum, followed by a chance to see the famous temples of Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Khili and Wat Sene. After the tour, you will be given free time to explore the city on your own.In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and traditional Laotian dance show and Baci ceremony. The rest of the night is free for you to relax.

Luang Prabang Highlights
   

Today, you will begin the day by observing the traditional alms giving ceremony in the streets of Luang Prabang. Appreciate the unique atmosphere created where the French colonial architecture collides with traditional Buddhist temples.After returning to your boat, we will continue to cruise downstream. You will then stop to visit the famous Kuang Si waterfall, followed by a small village where you will be able to watch the production of Sa Paper along the Nam Khan River.

Ban Thedeua-Paklay -Ban Donchai
   

Today you will cruise across the Mekong at Ban Thadeua before stopping to visit the small riverside community of Paklay, famous for its colonial architecture. After a short hike through the pristine and untouched nature, we will make our way to Ban Donchai village for you to explore a small cave, unseen by most travelers.We will return to the ship in the evening and spend the night close to the Thai-Laotian Border.

Mekong Sightseeing
   

Today you will witness some of the most remarkable and impressive landscapes in Laos as we sail up the mighty Mekong River. As you take in the beautiful scenery, we will visit some local villages along the shores. Enjoy natures breathtaking wonders such as hills covered in tropical vegetation and rock formations along the river banks as we continue to sail.At the end of the day, we will return to the ship and the rest of the evening is free for you to relax.

Vientiane
   

As we cruise further downstream, we will be making our way towards the Laotian capital city, Vientiane. Upon your arrival, you will visit the national symbol, the famous Luang temple, and the picturesque Arc de Triomphe.Enjoy your last evening on board with a lovely farewell dinner.

After breakfast, you will sadly say goodbye to your wonderful Laotian crew and prepare for your onward journey.
