Welcome to Huay Xai! Your journey will begin in the early morning where you will board your Luang Say cruise ship. Settle into your cabin and get ready for a breathtaking 2 day adventure through the pristine jungles and mysterious rivers of Laos. As we sail, you will have the chance to observe rural life on the shores and we will make a stop for you to witness the minority tribes along the Mekong River. A buffet lunch will be served on board.Around sunset, we will arrive at the Luang Say Lodge. Enjoy a lovely dinner on the terrace overlooking the mighty Mekong.
Enjoy a full breakfast at the Lodge. Before returning to your cruise, you have the option to take a stroll to Pakbeng market, where people from the surrounding minority villages sell their goods and handicrafts. Once we have set sail, a short stop is made to visit a hill-tribe village where you can watch the traditional process of Lao whiskey production.After a buffet lunch on board, continue to Pak Ou village at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, where you will visit the breathtaking Tam Ting Caves of a Thousand Buddhas. Once we have arrived in Luang Prabang, you will be dropped off at the pier to continue your onward journey

From November to February, we are sometimes unable to fit a visit to the whiskey village. We apologise for this but as it can be foggy in the mornings and gets dark fairly early, we need to consider the safety of our passengers and arrive at Luang Say Lodge during daylight hours.
