Welcome to Huay Xai! You will be greeted by our friendly guide who will escort you to the pier to board our Shompoo Cruise tour. After a quick stop in Pak Tha, we will be on our way! You will visit a hill-tribe village along the Mekong River where your guide will teach you about the way of living and origins of these rural populations. Lunch will be served on board.During the afternoon, you will have free time to relax with the opportunity to taste many different local fruits, drinks and snacks. We will arrive at our final stop before sunset, where you will leave the boat for an overnight in Pakbeng.
First thing in the morning you will return to your cruise and we will continue to set sail towards Luang Prabang. Lunch will be served on board as we sail towards Pak Ou Village, where you will visit the breathtaking Tam Ting Caves of a Thousand Buddhas.We will arrive in Luang Prabang in the early evening where you will be dropped off to continue your onward journey.
